Fish and chip restaurant in South Croydon.

This is primarily a takeaway shop, but there is a table at bar height next to the window, along with a couple of stools, so some people eat their food inside.

The menu photo as of November 2012 includes various types of fish (cod, rock, plaice, haddock, skate), along with sausages, burgers, and pies. Vegetarian items (burger, pancake roll, cheese and onion pastie, and pattie) are listed separately; and John, who is vegetarian, orders from here on a semi-regular basis. There's also a separate menu for children and OAPs.

The chips are thick cut, and (deliberately) soft rather than crispy. As of November 2012, a small portion costs £1.50 (which is cheaper than Burger King and gets you a larger portion).

The staff are friendly, and recognise regular visitors.

There's a Sheffield stand (bike rack) on the opposite side of the road, within sight of the fish bar.

Accessibility: There's one step from the pavement.

Last visited by John, November 2012. Opening hours taken from sign on door, December 2017.
