Bubble tea cafe in Stratford. It's located in Market Village, a cosy little warren of small businesses accessed via the Stratford Centre (the shopping centre just across the road from the main entrance to Stratford Station, in the direction away from Westfield).

The menu focuses solely on bubble tea, with seemingly no food available. It's also mainly aimed at takeaway, as the unit is very small; the seating consists entirely of two high stools. The walls are painted a soothing light green, with cartoon character decals photo. All the drinks are vegan, including the milky ones.

Kake and friend visited on a Friday afternoon in May 2015. There was no queue, and we were served immediately. Service was friendly and helpful, with staff happy to go through the different bubbles and jellies on offer and explain what they were made of (seaweed in the case of the jellies).

Pineapple, ginger, and lime (£3 for 700ml) on left in photo was very refreshing, nicely balanced, and not at all too sweet.

Kake's verdict: Liked it and would come back, even though I normally hate high-stool seating! I was particularly pleased that my drink wasn't sweetened.

Accessibility: No steps to get in (it's accessed via the shopping centre, and there are no steps there either). It's in the "Market Village" part of the centre, which has narrow, crowded passageways obstructed with pillars in places. The only seating is two high stools, but they're not as high as some, and they're quite sturdy. No customer toilets, but I think there are some in the shopping centre.
