Randomness Guide to London - Differences between Version 8 and Version 1 of Brekkers Cafe, CR5 3EA

Version 8 Version 1
Line 0 == == Line 0
Brekkers Cafe was a basic roadside greasy spoon on the A23 near Coulsdon. It has now closed. Google Street View suggests that the closure happened around 2016.
This is a basic roadside greasy spoon, almost (but not quite) as good as its near neighbour Full Monty Cafe, CR5 3EA, and a little further south, so if you don't notice the Full Monty in time to stop, this one is a good alternative just a couple of hundred yards away. If you're south-bound on the A23 having gone through Coulsdon, it's on the left after the Full Monty caff. There's a small car park. If you're northbound, there's a layby on the northbound carriageway and you may then risk life and limb crossing the dual carriageway on foot.

The information below is retained for historical purposes.
Food is basic greasy-spoon fare - good big breakfasts. It's slightly more expensive than its neighbour, but has a wider range of food on offer. All of it fried, of course.

An anonymous commenter (June 2011) tells us that you can also have your car cleaned there while you're eating.

DrHyde's verdict: Almost (but not quite) as good as the Full Monty.

Accessibility: Level access to caff from road. There is a small car park.
