Samuel Smith's pub just to the north of Oxford Street, in Fitzrovia, one of many of this name in W1.

This is a reliable place to meet in the area, with a handful of tables and some bench areas with high stools downstairs, and some banquette seating along the front by the door. There's usually space for meeting people, even on a Friday evening. Down the back of the room is a darts board.

It also has an upstairs bar which is generally open from 6pm (if not booked for functions), and food is served in the evenings (possibly the day, but this hasn't been verified). Food is not served on Friday evenings.

They have the standard range of Sam Smith's drinks (for which see the category page), including Old Brewery bitter on handpull (there are two on the downstairs bar).
