[[Kerry]] visited on a Wednesday lunchtime in September 2010. Crispy chicken sandwich was very good value for the price (£4.25 for a sandwich and chips). The bread was not warm all the way through and was a bit chewy, but the quality of the chicken and salad was better than expected for the price and location. At 1:30pm on a weekday it was full but not unpleasantly busy, with City suits mingling with tourists photographing the murals inside. There was generic pop music playing, but it wasn't intrusively loud, although this may change in the evening.

Pub very close to Blackfriars Station.

The beer is good, the food is OK, and it's worth visiting just for the murals. It's on CAMRA's national inventory of historically-interesting pub interiors.
