Bar/cafe/continental-style pub on Croydon High Street. Light colours and wooden chairs/tables upstairs, cosy cellar bar downstairs. It can get crowded.

Lots of interesting continental beers, in bottles and on tap. Real cider has been known to put in an appearance too.

They don't do food, but there are plenty of decent restaurants nearby; we particularly like the Croydon Steak House, Galicia (tapas), and Osushi (Japanese).

Last visited by Kake and Bob and others, some time in 2006. Opening hours taken from the 2007 Good Beer Guide.
