It was previously known as the Priory [http://www.flickr.com/photos/55935853@N00/3432284709/ photo] but was [http://twitter.com/#!/TheArtisanEC1V/status/126323868477571073 refurbished and renamed] in late 2011. We haven't visited since the refurb, so our comments below may be out of date.
[[bob]] and others visited on a Wednesday night. There was ample seatign available which was useful since about 20 of us turned up over about an hour. There are few sofas round the back. There is also mezzanine level. The lighting was quite dark. There is a big screen which was showign football but without the sound.

[[bob]] and others visited on a Wednesday night in February 2010. There was ample seating available, which was useful since about 20 of us turned up over about an hour. There are a few sofas round the back, and there's also a mezzanine level. The lighting was quite dim. Football was showing on a big screen, but without the sound.
They had Ringwood best and Marston's Sweet Chariot on. These were probably both £3.50 accordign to a drinks menu. A round consisting of a pint of best and two diet cokes came to £7.70.
