Previously located on Arcola Street just off Stoke Newington Road [http://flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/3113800848/ photo], in early 2011 it moved to new premises in a former paint factory opposite [[Dalston Junction Station]].

It has two auditoriums, seating approximately 200 and 100 people respectively. Both make use of the building's original architectural features, such as exposed brickwork. It also has a bar and cafe.
It specialises in new writing, although I have heard that it has become more commercial recently, and lost audience instead of gaining it!

Accessibility: Flat access to the foyer and both entrances to the larger auditorium. Step-free access to the toilets, bar, and entrance to smaller auditorium via a lift from the foyer. Both auditoriums have a small amount of seating on the level (checked in person by us), and according to their website both auditoriums also have wheelchair spaces.
Has a large but cosy cafe/bar opening on to the street (convenient for the Mangal snackbar opposite), although the choice of beers is limited to bottles of the Turkish beer Efe or one other.
