| Well-established fringe theatre in [[Locale Dalston|Dalston]], specialising in new writing. Previously located on Arcola Street just off Stoke Newington Road <small>[http://flickr.com/photos/kake_pugh/3113800848/ photo]</small>, in early 2011 it moved to new premises in a former paint factory opposite [[Dalston Junction Station]]. It has two auditoriums, seating approximately 200 and 100 people respectively. Both make use of the building's original architectural features, such as exposed brickwork. It also has a bar and cafe. Accessibility: Flat access to the foyer and both entrances to the larger auditorium. Step-free access to the toilets, bar, and entrance to smaller auditorium via a lift from the foyer. Both auditoriums have a small amount of seating on the level (checked in person by us), and according to their website both auditoriums also have wheelchair spaces. Big, well established fringe theatre specialising in new writing, although I have heard that it has become more commercial recently, and lost audience instead of gaining it! Has a large but cosy cafe/bar opening on to the street (convenient for the Mangal snackbar opposite), although the choice of beers is limited to bottles of the Turkish beer Efe or one other.
