The pub was quite full, but I managed to find a seat. Ales available were Rudgate Zest Is Best (£2/half), London Pride, St Austell Tribute, Nicholson's Pale Ale, Sam Adams Blonde Ambition, Mole Catcher, Brains SA, and Adnams Lighthouse. The Zest Is Best was very good. According to the Nicholson's website as of September 2013, food is served 10am-10pm Mon-Sat and noon-10pm Sun. An interesting bar snacks menu <small>[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/9719817254/sizes/l photo]</small> is available on the ground floor, and a full menu <small>[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/9719880970/sizes/h/ photo]</small> is available in the upstairs dining room. Accessibility: No step to get in. There's a gents' toilet and a shared ladies'/accessible toilet on the ground floor (each only a single cubicle; there are more toilets on the second floor).
