Elegantly decorated restaurant on [[Locale Portobello Road|Portobello Road]] serving high quality food based on organic, English ingredients which closed in [https://www.happycow.net/reviews/the-portobello-organic-kitchen-west-london-53898 early 2017] and has been replaced by a Thai restaurant called Brown Rice.

The dishes come from a range of European cuisines (French, Italian, Spanish, English) and the cooking is imaginative and of a very high standard, using fresh organic ingredients.  However, the prices are not low; main courses range from &pound;11 to &pound;18, although the pizzas are cheaper (&pound;8.50 to &pound;11).  If you're offered bread to go with the meal, be aware that it costs &pound;4.50 and is not complimentary; it's also delicious.

[[itsbruce]] took two fussy Americans to this restaurant and they both loved the food.  Well worth a visit if you don't mind the price.
