Micropub with microbrewery in a former children's bookshop in [[Locale West Ealing|West Ealing]].

It still retains something of the feel of a bookshop, with bookcases spaced out along one wall and owl and pussycat themed pictures, ornaments, and stuffed animals here and there.  Large windows at the front let in the light, and the relatively spacious feel is enhanced by white and pastel walls and pale wood style laminate on the floor.

Unlike many micropubs, the majority of the seating is at normal height, with just a couple of high stools toward the back.  Mismatched wooden chairs are drawn up around wooden tables, supplemented by a cushion-strewn bench along one wall.

Again unlike many micropubs, the ales are served from handpumps rather than straight from the cask, mounted on a small bar at the back.  A board next to this offers tasting notes.

[[Kake]] and [[bob]] visited on a Saturday afternoon in October 2018.  There was one other customer when we arrived around 1pm, and several more arrived shortly afterwards; by 1:30pm there was quite a lively conversation going on.  No music was playing.  Service was welcoming, friendly, and informative.

All the beers on offer are from their own microbrewery, and on our visit included a stout, a witbier, and a sour <small>[https://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/45447074291/ photo of beer menu]</small>.

[[Kake]]'s verdict: I liked it here, and would happily come back.

Accessibility: Two steps to get in.  In the way of getting to the toilet there's a small step, an uneven floor, a doorway filled with plastic sheeting, and various bits of brewery equipment.
