This postal district covers the [[Locale Docklands|Docklands]] -- specifically, [[Locale Isle Of Dogs|Isle of Dogs]] (including [[Locale Millwall|Millwall]] and [[Locale Cubitt Town|Cubitt Town]]) -- as well as [[Locale Limehouse|Limehouse]] to the west and [[Locale Poplar|Poplar]] to the north.  It is within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

It crosses the River Thames at the [[Greenwich Foot Tunnel]] (and a DLR tunnel between [[Island Gardens Station]] and [[Cutty Sark Station]]), as well as for road traffic by the Blackwall Tunnel.  The Jubilee Line crosses under the river twice, from [[Locale SE16|SE16]] to [[Locale SE10|SE10]] via [[Canary Wharf Tube Station]].  In addition, the [[Hilton Ferry]] runs between [[Canary Wharf Pier]] (E14) and [[Nelson Dock Pier]] (SE16).
