A cozy and bright cafe in [[Locale West Norwood|West Norwood]]. There are three tables and a sofa inside; and two tables outside. A customer toilet is available but not seen on this visit.

[[Bec]] visited around lunchtime in early September 2017. The blackboard menu consisted of cooked breakfasts: vegan, vegetarian and full English. All the usual lunchtime classics are available: sandwiches and toasties, jacket potatoes, made to order salads, omelettes and a special of the day; on this visit it was burritos with rice and refried beans and a choice of chicken or vegetable filling.

Coffee, tea, juice and smoothies are served and there is a chiller of soft drinks and juices. On premises baked goods are available at the counter.

[[Bec]] sampled the vegan breakfast of fried plantain, wilted spinach, beans, grilled tomatoes and toast with olive spread (&pound;4.95). I asked them to omit the mushrooms, and was instead given a flavoursome, slightly mashed potato dish, subtly salted and creamy in texture. The plantains were cooked very well, not too oily and the meal proportions were hearty, hot and filling. Cappuccino (&pound;2.10) was served very hot and with a small wrapped biscuit.

Child-friendliness: There were two stacked highchairs. I did not see a childrens menu but drinks for children were listed as 90p for soft drinks and steamed milk babyccinos.

[[Bec]]s verdict: Service is friendly and the atmosphere cheering. I would happily return to sample more of the menu or relax over a hot drink and cake.
