Exotic meat restaurant in [[Locale Fitzrovia|Fitzrovia]].

[[bob]] and several co-workers visited on a Monday evening in May 2010.  When we arrived for our 7pm booking, the restaurant was already quite busy and more people were coming in.  It was a warm enough day that they were making use of their small terrace out front and had the windows wide open.

We started with some canapes (&pound;2.50 per person) while we were deciding on what to have.  They were fine, although not obviously a chargeable item when they were offered to us.

Others had the crocodile in vine leaves (&pound;10.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4635959047/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo], the ostrich (&pound;10) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4670802917/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo], and finally the caramelised duck (&pound;10.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4670802245/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo].

For mains, [[bob]] had the wok seared frog's legs (&pound;17)[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4671429702/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo], which was very tasty. Others had the zebra (&pound;19.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4671428976/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo], the gnu (&pound;19.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4671427868/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo], and the kangaroo (&pound;19.00) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4671428492/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo]. We also had a selection of sides &#8212; potatoes (&pound;3.50), coconut rice (&pound;3.50), and the love bug salad (&pound;7.50) [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rjw1/4670805993/in/set-72157624207364424/ photo], all of which were fine.

[[bob]]'s verdict: Worth a visit once in your life for the love bug salad, since insects are probably about the only thing you can't find elsewhere in London.  It's also an experience.

Accessibility: The toilets are down a narrowish spiral staircase.
