Tudor Rose, W1U 7HS
- 44 Blandford Street
A Tudor-fronted pub which closed in 2016 due to a rent increase from the freehold owners, the Portman Estate. Intended to reopen in late-2016 as a wine bar and restaurant. More information is given at the WhatPub entry.
A pleasant pub in Marylebone.
This mock-Tudor pub is tucked away from the High Street, and not too busy on a December 2008 visit. There's an open fire to make it cosy, with around 8-10 small tables scattered around the room, and a couple of banquettes in one corner.
There are three handpulls on the bar, serving London Pride (£3.30/pint), Theakston Best Bitter and Old Speckled Hen on a December 2008 visit. Service is friendly.
There's a separate dining room upstairs, and toilets are located downstairs.
