Modern pub near Aldgate East tube station, named for an equine statue in the small square facing the pub. It's located in the ground floor of a new-build block (the pub opened in 2017), with large patio doors that are kept open in the summer.

Inside, there is a large open bar area with two huge tanks of Truman's Raw Lager proudly displayed above it. Seating is a mixture of small tables near the doors, a (reservable) raised seating area with a mix of banquettes and stools, and a section set up for 'vertical drinking' with tall tables and stools. There's plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas and patio heaters — punters usually spill out onto the pedestrianised square when it's busy.

The clientele are mainly office workers, and it can get quite noisy on Thursday and Friday evenings. Kat is one of these noisy workers and has visited on several occasions. There is usually at least one real ale on a handpump, however in my experience, opting for one of the decent range of craft keg and bottled beers is usually the better option. In October 2019 a pint of Truman's Raw Lager was £5.50. There is also a large gin selection.

Accessibility: Step-free to the bar and toilets, one short set of steps to the raised indoor seating area.
