The Prince of Wales was a Fuller's pub in Hillingdon. According to the Feb/Mar 2015 London Drinker, it closed some time in 2014.

The information below is retained for historical purposes.

Fuller's pub in Hillingdon.

Located on the corner of Uxbridge Road and Harlington Road, this pub has two sides with no internal connection between them. The Uxbridge Road side (on the left in the photo on this page) is a long, comfortable, and traditionally-decorated room with a flatscreen, a carpeted floor, a couple of large leather sofas, and a few upright chairs and tables. This leads round to an alcove containing a pool table, a dartboard, and a single church pew for seating. Finally, out the back is a patio-style beer garden.

Kake and bob visited on a Saturday afternoon in September 2012. There were two real ales on: London Pride and ESB. They also had a tap for keg Chiswick.

There were no other customers when we arrived around 4:30pm, but three or four turned up while we were there. A container of dog treats sat on the bar, suggesting that dogs are welcome. The flatscreen was showing Paralympics coverage (wheelchair rugby) with the sound on.

According to the 2010 Good Beer Guide, bar snacks are available at lunchtimes, but there appears to be no other form of food.

Accessibility: The entrance at the Uxbridge Road side has a very shallow step a little way before the entrance, then another step, a little larger. Unsure if the gap between them is large enough for all wheelchairs to manage. There's a shallow but uneven ramp to the beer garden from here. No idea about access on the Harlington Road side.
