The Nags Head was a pub on Upper Street in Islington. According to the Apr/May 2020 London Drinker it has closed down and been replaced by a branch of Be At One.

The information below is retained for historical purposes.

Okay pub on Upper Street in Islington. Since the comments below were made, the pub has been given a makeover and appears to have changed ownership.

It's a long and fairly thin room which stretches around the bar and affords larger tables towards the back, where a large screen shows sport (generally without sound). On a February 2011 visit, music was playing, but not too loudly, and was hardly distracting.

The Guinness is drinkable, as are the cask ales. There's the usual range of draught beers and ciders as well.

It's fairly useful for meeting up to go to the Islington Vue, but certainly not a destination pub.
