bob visited at about 10pm on a Thursday evening in September 2009, just as they were winding down the quiz (which is normally on a Wednesday — I assume it was moved this week due to football the day before). The pub was not full but not empty either. There were quite a few people in the beer garden as well, where there also seemed to be a temporary swimming pool.
They had three real ales on; Young's Bitter, Yellow Hammer (£2.80) and another guest.
Food is served lunchtimes Mon-Fri only, according to the 2010 Good Beer Guide.
