Pub in Harefield, just across the road from the village green. It was in the 2007 Good Beer Guide but not in subsequent editions.

Inside, it's roughly divided into two halves, though they're both connected. One half is quieter, while the other has a jukebox and a pool table and was rather livelier on Kake, Ewan, and Matthew's Tuesday afternoon visit in March 2009, with a number of local raconteurs holding forth on various subjects.

Beers available were Ansells Bitter, Blindmans Icarus (£2.75/pint), Greene King IPA, Adnams Broadside (£1.43/half), and London Pride. Service was accurate and prompt, if rather impersonal.

They offer Thai food, but we didn't try it.
