The Furzedown was a large mock Tudor pub in the Furzedown area of Streatham. According to the Feb/Mar 2018 London Drinker, it has now closed and its future is "uncertain".

secretlondon visited with a group one Saturday in July 2016. The pub was covered in large flags, I think due to the European football championships. Football was showing on a TV screen, there was a loud disco somewhere (I think in the beer garden), and there was also a man singing and playing a guitar in a side room. It was generally very loud.

There were two handpumps but both were off. There were some kegs with nothing interesting on. They sell some craft beer in bottles but I'm not sure which.

They were supposed to be serving food when we got there but had stopped early. At 8:30pm the police arrived but left again. It seems to be child friendly and also has board games.
