Micropub in Hanwell.
It's a long, narrow space, stretching back from a double-windowed shopfront on a sparsely-populated street across from a large Wickes. A sturdy service counter is near the front, though the beers are actually fetched from a back room and table service is also available. Various paintings of dodos hang on the walls.
Kake and bob visited on a Saturday afternoon in October 2018. There were a couple of people in when we arrived around 2:30pm, but it filled up while we were there.
They had five ales on: Weird Beard The Number 13 (£4/pint), Tiny Rebel Citra/Mosaic Milkshake IPA (£4.40/pint), Reunion Beardtongue (£4.20/pint), Moor Dark Alliance (£4.40/pint), and their own collaboration with Weird Beard, The Dodo (£4.80/pint). Halves were served in elegant stemmed glasses.
Like most micropubs they don't do full meals, but they do have bar snacks. A charcuterie board (£6.50) photo was tasty, ample, and nicely varied.
Child-friendliness: Children are permitted until 7pm.
Accessibility: A small step to get in, no more than an inch or so. No steps to the toilet, but there are three 90-degree turns on the way. All the seating is on high stools aside from two small chairs at a low table in the corner and a rug-covered sill in the bay window.
