The Berwick Street Cloth Shop was a fabric shop in Soho. It has now moved to Wembley, where as of summer 2021 it is operating by appointment only in person, and online under the name of Top Fabric.

Fabric shop on Berwick Street in Soho. It has two sister shops in the same area: Broadwick Silks and the Silk Society.

This one is quite a small space, but packed with fabrics of different types, including a good selection of cotton jersey (which can be surprisingly hard to find). When Kake visited in September 2018, the staff were very helpful.

(According to an anonymous commenter in October 2009, they stock fabrics including silk, cotton, linen, wool, viscose, metal, leather, plastic, beading, lace, chiffons, satins, dupions, taffetas, organzas, suitings, faux furs and velvets. We haven't confirmed all of this ourselves though.)
