Zone 5 rail station in South London, with trains to Victoria and London Bridge. It's also a terminus of the London Overground East London Line, and is served by all three Tramlink routes. There is an attached bus station.

The walk to East Croydon Station is just over a kilometre (around two-thirds of a mile). Alternatively, it's two stops on any of the Tramlink routes (the reverse journey, East Croydon to West Croydon, is slightly longer by tram due to one-way running in the centre).

The main entrance is on London Road (which at the time of writing is mislabelled on Google Maps as North End). The tram stop and bus station are around the back on Station Road.

As of August 2011, there's a cash machine in the station but it charges for withdrawals. The nearest free one is probably the Santander one within a minute's walk of the station: come out the front entrance of the station, turn left, continue across Station Road (the one with the tram tracks), and it's on the next corner.
