A pub in Southall, at the corner of the busy Broadway.

Although it's clear this pub hasn't seen any refurbishment work in quite a long time, this curiously is one of its strengths, as it retains a lot of old-fashioned period fittings, such as separate saloon and public bars, leather-padding on the bar counter and some attractive wood-panelling. Both sides of the bar, which have separate entrances on the South Road side, are carpeted, with tables and banquette seating along the walls.

A large screen and projector shows sports in the public bar end of the pub, which hooks around the bar in an L-shape.

There are no ales or handpulls at the bar, and the range of lagers is fairly standard. They have a few bottled lagers as well (such as Corona), and one or two bottled ales (Newcastle Brown Ale and one other were spotted on a shelf behind the bar, though dwarfed by their collection of brightly-coloured WKD bottles).

It's not an unpleasant pub by any means, but it seems like a place out of time.
