On our second visit, we learned that usually if you admit that it's your birthday, you'll be offered an unspecified but lethal drink on the house. As we were on a Circle Line pub crawl, the birthday boy instead got a packet of pork scratchings. |

Good Beer Guide pub in the City, just north of the Tower of London. Note that it's closed on weekends, like most City pubs.

The 2008 Good Beer Guide says there's a selection of pub games available from the bar - not sure if they mean board games or what.
Projection screen for sport, live music at weekends, darts and pool (one table) upstairs.
