The pub has two floors, with the upstairs being reserved for diners it would seem. There is a nice conservatory at the back of the ground floor. The main toilets are down in the basement, but there's a disabled toilet on the ground floor as well.

We were there on a Thursday night; it was quite busy in general, though the number of people in the pub waxed and waned over the evening. We suspect this depends on performances in the surrounding venues. It's worth noting that even when the front was standing room only (and on occasions barely even that), there was always a lot more space towards the back and in the conservatory (even to the extent that there would be people standing at the front when there were free tables and seats in the conservatory).

Youngs pub on the South Bank. Opposite the ITV studios and just along the road from BFI Southbank.

The beer was tasty. Young's Ordinary was £2.75. They also had Bombardier on.

The food was okay. The steak (£10.75) was a touch tough and slightly overcooked. Martin had no complaints about his burger (£8.25).

The barman was very efficient and friendly, despite the pub being very busy on occasion.
