There's nothing particularly stand-out about this pub, though the bar staff are friendly, so no trouble there. This place is a former Wetherspoon's pub (at which time it was called the Sylvan Moon), and it certainly still looks it. Locals were watching sport, which was being shown on a number of large TV screens dotted around the place. A relaxed enough place on a Saturday afternoon. |

On a visit in May 2008, the ales on tap were Tim Taylor Golden Best, Abbot Ale, London Pride, Spitfire and Hobgoblin.
Food is served, from the evidence of a menu on our visit, the usual pub standards, with mains at £5-£8, the Sunday roast £6.25 (including vegetarian option), chips £1.75 and onion rings £1.95 (nothing special, but decent).
