Historical version 2 of Kings Arms, KT8 9DD (view current version)

Hall & Woodhouse pub and hotel in East Molesey near Hampton Court Palace.

Drinkers are directed to the bar at the left, which has exposed brickwork and a mosaic inlay on the floor. There's a large fireplace, which (judging by the presence of a coal scuttle and all the relevant tools) does appear to get some use in the colder months. Two red leather sofas face each other in front of the fireplace, and ornate candleholders stand on the tables. There's some picnic bench seating out the front of the pub too.

Kake visited on a Tuesday afternoon in September 2011. There were only a couple of other customers in. Music was playing quietly, fairly decent vocal/acoustic stuff when I got there, later deteriorating into Phil Collins. Three real ales were on: Fursty Ferret (£1.90/half), Tanglefoot, and Badger. The Fursty Ferret was in good condition, but the most expensive half of real ale I've ever bought, and served slightly too cold.

According to a menu seen in September 2011 photo, food is served noon-3pm and 6pm-9pm Mon-Thu; noon-3pm and 6pm-10pm Fri; noon-10pm Sat; and noon-9pm Sun. They also do breakfast 7am-10am Mon-Fri and 8am-10am Sat-Sun, as well as cream teas 10am-6pm every day.

They have free wireless (get the password from the bar).

A board seen outside in September 2011 advertised a quiz on the first Thursday of every month.

Accessibility: A small step and a ridge to get in. Once you're in, it's step-free to the bar, seating, and ladies' (not sure about the gents'). The cubicles in the ladies' are a bit of a squeeze to get into. The pub has a private car park; permits should be collected from the bar.
