Used to be a decent enough tapas place in Islington, just off Upper Street. Now closed and turned into yet another branch of La Tasca. |
Decent enough and reasonably-priced tapas place just off Upper Street. Other reviews on the interweb have pointed out that they tend to be understaffed, and our experience doesn't contradict this. |

The information below is retained for people who want to know what this place used to be like. |
On a visit by Kake (in the company of Bob) on a Tuesday in December 2006, they had bocquerones, meatballs, aubergine baked with cheese, tuna salad, patatas bravas, deep-fried squid rings, and chorizo y vino. The bocquerones (fresh anchovies in vinegar) were good. The aubergine was good too, but then I really like aubergine. The squid was possibly a little rubbery, but then squid's hard to get right. Might well come back if I was in the area and fancied tapas; wouldn't make a special journey. |
