It's a fairly standard Wetherspoons shopfront conversion, roughly mid-sized for the genre. The ceiling is low, and the open-plan entry space holds a mix of high and low tables. Further back past the bar are four booths.
In June 2015, [http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/Foxley-Hatch-pub-Purley-close-Wetherspoons-Sale/story-26805166-detail/story.html the Croydon Advertiser reported] that Wetherspoons had put the Foxley Hatch up for sale, and that it would close once a buyer had been found. However, as of October 2015, [http://www.morningadvertiser.co.uk/Operators/JD-Wetherspoon/Wetherspoon-pubs-in-Kent-and-Purley-saved-after-community-campaigns the Morning Advertiser reports] that following a community campaign the Foxley Hatch has been taken off the market and will remain open.

[[Kake]] and [[bob]] visited on a Friday afternoon in January 2016. It was quite lively when we arrived around 2:15pm, though there were still plenty of free tables and even a free booth. By the time we left around 6:15pm it was quite full. No music was playing, as is usual for Wetherspoons pubs.
Food served until 11pm.

The handpumps were clipped for six real ales (Ringwood Old Thumper, Upham Punter, Elland Nettle Thrasher, Sharp's Doom Bar, Abbot Ale, Ruddles Best) and two real ciders (Westons Wyld Wood and Westons Marcle Hill). A pint of lime and soda was 80p.

Food is served all day from a chain-wide menu including breakfasts.

There's free WiFi via The Cloud (requires free registration), but as of January 2016 it's only accessible in the front part of the pub, not in the booths at the back.

Accessibility: No steps to get in, and there's a RADAR-locked accessible toilet on the ground floor. Other toilets are up a rather creaky flight of stairs with a handrail.
