Cafe in Dalston, a few doors down from Dalston Junction Station.

Despite the name, it's not a shop. It does have a kitchen garden, a set of chicken coops, and a mushroom farm, but the produce is used in the cafe rather than being available for sale. A polytunnel in the garden at the back provides outdoor seating as well as protection for the growing plants photo.

On Kake's August 2014 visit, there were only a couple of other people in around 1:30pm on a Friday. Service was helpful. I didn't try the food, but a can of Whole Earth elderflower drink was nicely chilled (and only £1.20, even though the menu in the front window claimed £1.50).

Accessibility: Step-free to get in (go along the corridor a bit and you'll see the step-free entrance) and to get to the toilet (a single large cubicle). Technically there's also step-free access to the garden via a ramp, but this is very narrow and on our visit it was also cluttered.
