Italian restaurant in Putney.
Martin and bob visited on a Thursday night in January 2010. It was quite full when we arrived around 9pm, but there were a couple of spare tables.
bob started with the seared tuna carpaccio (£9.50), which was very good. Martin's beef sausage (£10.50) was pretty good as well. For mains we had the roast and braised rabbit (£19.50) photo and the oxtail (£19.50). Both of these were really good. Our desserts of tiramisu (£6.75) photo and baked pear (£6.75) photo were very tasty too.
We accompanied our meal with a really nice bottle of bardolino (£28.50) from their extensive and wordy wine list, and a large bottle of mineral water (£3). They also have a range of dessert wines, and the menu includes suggested wine pairings for most of the dishes.
An optional 12.5% service charge was added to our bill.
bob's verdict: The food was really good and worth the money, and the wine list was very interesting. I would certainly return at some point.
Accessibility: No step to get in. The back is slightly lower than the front but there is a ramp down. On our visit the disabled toilet was noticeably being used as a storage room. The other toilets are down a narrow passageway.
