Riverside pub just by [[Locale Hammersmith|Hammersmith]] Bridge. This small pub alongside the River Thames was refurbished around the beginning of 2008, and on [[Ewan]]'s May 2008 visit was looking clean and tidy. Inside, a few tables reach back into the darker depths of the pub, while some tall four-seater tables are in the front by the windows. The bar is quite small, and with only a few people serving, the wait for a drink was quite lengthy by 7pm on a sunny mid-week summer evening. The key feature is of course the ability to sit alongside the Thames. There are three or four tables outside (with more nearby for the neighbouring Rutland Arms) and plenty of standing room along the Thames Path, which was thronged with drinkers by 6pm and getting busier. Three pumps for real ales (London Pride, Doom Bar and Adnams Explorer), which disappointingly were all off on our May 2008 visit. Likewise, the Staropramen was off on the same visit, so the options for beer drinkers were fairly slim (Beck's Vier, Fosters, et al.). The wine selection was pretty decent, with a drinkable riesling (£5.50/250ml glass) and a fine New Zealand sauvignon blanc. As of May 2008, food is served noon-3:30pm and 6pm-9pm Monday to Friday, and 1pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm Saturday and Sunday. The menu is fairly basic, with mains, lighter meals, salads and only a few vegetarian options (only one for the main meals). Bar snacks are cashews and pistachios. The bowl of wedges (£6) came with a good spicy sauce and was enough to share amongst several people (as you'd expect for the price).
