Delicatessen and sandwich shop near Liverpool Street Station and Spitalfields Market, specialising in British food.

They sell old-fashioned drinks (sarsaparilla etc), old-fashioned sweets, Martin Pitt's eggs from happy hens, bottled Devon cider, various anchovy-based products, local honey, etc. They also have a couple of cake-type things, and a small chill cabinet with smoked salmon, cheese, pies, etc. (They may also sell mead and sloe gin but Kake didn't spot any on a visit in June 2008.)

It's not cheap, but it's not stupidly overpriced either. It's possibly best summed up by a quote from the Urban Path page linked below: "Charming without being twee."
