Locale: Thamesmead West
A more recent development of Thamesmead in South-East London, built on land once occupied by Woolwich Arsenal. It is largely within SE28 as well as parts of SE18, and administered by the London Borough of Greenwich.
To the south of the area lies Belmarsh Prison, which opened in 1991.
