Locale: Honor Oak

A rather overlooked little area of South-East London lying largely within the London Borough of Southwark (and a bit of Lewisham), where the SE22, SE23 and SE4 postal districts intersect (and very near SE15 too).

As such, Honor Oak is rather hard to define precisely. However, it can be considered to stretch from Forest Hill Road in the west, taking in the roads south of [Peckham Rye]? (an area sometimes referred to as Newlands), and following the line of the SE22/SE23 border (Brenchley Gardens). To the east, it extends up St Norbert's Road, taking in the corner of the London Borough of Lewisham bordered on the north by the railway line between Nunhead and Crofton Park stations and to the east by the valley gouged out for the railway line serving Brockley and Honor Oak Park stations.
