Locale: Fitzrovia

An area of the City of Westminster, in the W1 postal district. The name of the area was coined in the early-20th century by a group of bohemian writers and artists converging on the pubs around Charlotte Street, particularly the Fitzroy Tavern. It has languished in semi-obscurity until relatively recently, traditionally dominated by office blocks and fashion wholesalers.

According to Wikipedia, Fitzrovia is “...bounded to the north by Euston Road, to the east by the Tottenham Court Road, to the south by Oxford Street and to the west by Great Portland Street (or alternatively Portland Place).”
