Pub in Limehouse with a dark and woody interior, a restaurant upstairs, and a little terrace seating about ten people, looking out onto the river.
Served very tasty, hoppy Landlord on doop's March 2007 visit, and the staff were very friendly.
There are cycle racks conveniently across the road from the entrance to the pub.
The landlady bought the pub some time around early 2007, and sold it on to Sir Ian McKellen, Sean Mathias, and Evgeny Lebedev in 2011.
An anonymous commenter (October 2011) tells us that dogs are welcome, but must be on a lead at all times.
