Firezza, SE24 0HN

This was the Loughborough Junction branch of the Firezza pizza chain, but has now closed.

The information below is retained for historical purposes.

Pizza chain with online ordering and delivery via Urban Bite, Just Eat and their own website. This is the branch in Loughborough Junction, though they have other seven other branches in London.

secretlondon ordered from them in May 2009. They sell pizza by quarter metre or as a 12" circle; I ordered a 12" Piccante (£12.20), a pizza bread with garlic and mozzarella (£3.50), chocolate mousse (£3.80) and can of limonata (£1.20). I was charged 40p for paying by card.

The pizza didn't arrive and after ringing them up they claimed to have rung the buzzer, knocked on the door and waited outside for 30 minutes. I got them to deliver again - the pizza was average and the garlic bread had minimal garlic. After the hassle I regret not just going to somewhere local. Not worth the additional cost over my local Italian restaurant.

When Ewan has ordered from them in the past, although not having any difficulty receiving the order, has found some of the attention to detail a bit lacking (not receiving a side salad on two occasions, and on another getting one with anchovies). Their pizzas are thin-crust and have more interesting toppings than many pizza places.

secretlondon ordered from them again in October 2011. The order was all fine and arrived early. They do a special offer of any 12 inch pizza, side order and can of soft drink for £14.90 on their own website, Hungry House and Urban Bite or the same offer for £16.50 if ordered via Just Eat. However every order via Just Eat gets a free side bread, but every order via Hungry House does too. The best offer seems to be via Hungry House as you get the lower price and the free bread.
