A pub in the City, which was in the 2007 Good Beer Guide but not the 2008 one.
The beer appears to be well-kept. At least, the Directors was very pleasant.
Despite DrHyde going there at 6pm on a working day, service from the well-staffed bar was quick, it was busy but not over-crowded, and was refreshingly free of City vermin. Instead it seems to attract a crowd of people who do real work in the area, as well as clergy and the like from St Paul's Cathedral which is very close.
Ladies' toilet is upstairs, gents' on the ground floor (I think).
