Ciao Bella, WC1N 3LZ

Italian restaurant on Lamb's Conduit Street in Bloomsbury.

secretlondon and a group of classmates went here one Wednesday night in November 2009. It has two floors and few tables outside on the pavement, under a canopy. We booked for 6pm and needed to book. It was full when we left at 8pm.

Whilst we were waiting we were given complimentary olives and cheese. The cheese was nice, and the olives an interesting selection. We also had packets of breadsticks on our places.

The group decided against starters and two had pizza, 2 pastas and one chicken. secretlondon had an American hot pizza (£8) which she liked. There had a large dessert menu — secretlondon had a lemon sorbet inside a lemon which was okay. Everyone else had coffee.

It is clearly very popular and the tables were closely packed together. You need to book, even during weeknights in November. We'd all go back, but secretlondon has had better.

Accessibility: There are two floors and the tables were closely packed together. There were certainly toilets downstairs, don't know about upstairs.
